Overview

An off-the-grid lodge for the social adventurer, Bell 2 Lodge is a custom built heli-skiing village run by Last Frontier Heliskiing. With private log chalet rooms complete with wood burning stoves and extremely comfortable beds, it’s no wonder Bell 2 Lodge has become a favourite among BC heli-skiers.

As one of the more social heli-ski lodges in BC, you will be sure to make great friends in the main lodge, where après, meals and bottles of wine are shared. You can also unwind in the outdoor hot tub, sauna, fire pit, or just relax in the bar area. There is also a games room and fitness centre for those with more energy to burn.

Guests will enjoy easy access to the helipad, which is located just in front of the lodge. Should you experience any down days (when there is too much snow falling) there are plenty of activities on offer from snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and fat biking to archery and skeet shooting.

Location

Located in the Skeena Mountains in the North of British Columbia, it doesn’t get much more remote. Fly to Terrace, BC from Vancouver and then take a 4-hour transfer through stunning alpine vistas that will lead you to Bell 2 Lodge. Last Frontier operates in 10,100 square km of terrain – around 4 times the average size of a BC heli-ski area!

Terrain

Bell 2 Lodge offers a huge array or terrain choices, with something for everyone from advanced intermediate to pro skiers and riders. The lodge is surrounded by skiable terrain, so this is a great option if you’re looking to maximize your runs, with some lines just a 5 minutes’ flight from your cabin. A mix of open, alpine terrain (bowls and glaciers) combined with some of BC’s best tree-skiing, for those slightly less optimal weather days.

Terrain summary: Something for everyone with easily accessible trees and alpine.

Snow clearing is a common sight here!
