Tailor-Made Whistler Ski Holidays
Whistler ski trips created and organised by Whistler locals
Plan your perfect Whistler ski trip
Our team lives and works right here in the heart of Whistler Village, and we love sharing our passion for our incredible home with likeminded skiers and boarders. Our knowledge, experience and contacts mean that we can help you experience Whistler like a local too.
Worried about lift lines or whether you need to book restaurants in advance? Want to know the snowiest month to visit? Or which properties have the best hot tubs? Mabey Ski is here to answer all of your questions and help plan the ski trip of your dreams, from magical family getaways at Christmas to powder-filled adventures with friends. We take the time to listen to you, and what you want from your ideal Whistler ski trip. If you need some inspiration, the team can talk you through plenty of local activities and unique experiences.
Bespoke ski trips for those looking to explore Whistler like a local. With your on-the-ground concierge team, every part of your trip will be taken care of, from accommodation and transportation to restaurant reservations and deliveries.
Flying into Vancouver International Airport, the skiing starts in Mabey Ski's hometown of Whistler, BC – 2 hours north of Vancouver.
We have created unique Whistler ski trips for honeymoons, 50th birthdays, young families taking their first trip and everyone in between! Just bring an appetite for adventure and we'll do the rest.
We offer ski trips to Whistler from the end of November through to May each year - see below for more information on which months are our favourite to ski in Whistler, and why.
Getting to Whistler
Arriving into Vancouver International Airport (YVR), we will arrange for a private SUV, minibus or scheduled transfer service to collect you from the international arrivals terminal. The drive to Whistler takes around 2 hours from YVR and is one of the most spectacular drives in the world – with sprawling ocean, dramatic mountain backdrops, cityscapes and much more. Local tip: sit on the left-hand side of the vehicle on the way up to Whistler for the best window view, and on the right-hand side on the way back to Vancouver. Once you have arrived in Whistler village (the downtown area), your driver will drop you and your bags right at the door or your property, where either a Mabey Ski representative or your accommodation manager will meet you and help settle in.
Whistler Blackcomb Skiing
As one of North America’s biggest resorts, there is not shortage of terrain for all levels of skier and snowboarder on Whistler Blackcomb. Offering one of the best ski schools and guiding programs on the planet, as well as a huge array of different runs, bowls, glades and glaciers, Whistler Blackcomb is the place to push your boundaries and take it to the next level. Learn how to ski tour in the backcountry with one of our expert ski guides, or take a steep-skiing private clinic (along with lift line priority privileges) in the resort. Don’t forget to stop in at our favourite lunch spot, Christine’s on Blackcomb for their famous burger or hoisin duck salad.
On the mountain we can help arrange lift passes, ski lessons, ski guiding, clinics, coaching, heli-skiing and much, much more.
Whistler Activities off the Mountain
There is almost as much fun to be had off the mountain as there is on it, so why not try out some of our favourite off-the-beaten track activities. You can snowmobile up to a remote alpine cabin where a chef is waiting and ready to serve up a true Canadian breakfast cooked on a skillet – one of the best ways to wake up in Whistler!
For a splash of culture, check out the Squamish Lilwat Cultural Centre in the Upper Village to dive deeper into the history of the First Nations community. Don’t forget to try the traditional Bannock in their café.
Looking to relax and soothe those sore muscles, take a few hours at the Scandinave Spa, complete with hot tubs, saunas, steam rooms, cold plunges, solariums and everything else you need to unwind from a long day’s skiing.
Pre-arrange activities with one of our team, or drop us a message when in resort and we can help arrange any of these last minute too, availability permitting.
