Multi-day ski touring adventures
Adventure differently on a multi-day ski touring trip
After discovering a lack of options and expertise when it came to booking, organising and sourcing the best multi-day ski touring trips around the world, Mabey Ski was launched with an aim of introducing skiers and snowboarders to the peaks less tracked.
From ski touring volcanoes in Japan to sailing and skiing the Norwegian fjords, we have a number of multi-day backcountry trips for intermediate to advaned-expert skiers. In our home of Whistler we offer trips to local backcountry huts, cabins and lodges – not to mention our signature backcountry heli-basecamp – and are the experts in arranging guided ski days with a focus on pushing boundaries and creating the best memories.
Whether you’re looking for a luxury backcountry trip for a private group or multi-day road trip, our team of our ski touring experts can chat through some ideas and help make your dream adventure a reality.
Ski-touring FAQs
No! If you can ski powder to an intermediate standard in the resort, then you are going to be just fine. Skiing in the backcountry is usually a little easier as you aren't skiing through choppy, tracked out powder. Good fitness is required, and some powder skiing knowledge, but you don't need to be an expert. Having said this, some of our multi-day trips do require some small amount of experience, so have a chat with us and we an discuss your level of fitness and organize any refresher or introductions courses beforehand.
Please email us at [email protected] and one of our ski touring experts will get in touch to chat about your options. We are all experiences backcountry skiers and have skied all over the world, so feel free to ask us any pressing questions you might have.
We have travelled across the world to hand pick guides at each of our destination. We have skied with dozens of different guides, in order to have a good range of personalities and specialties to suit all of our guests. We ensure that all of our guides have the highest qualifications on the planet, usually an ACMG or IFMGA or equivalent.

Anything such as large packs, ski touring equipment, avalanche safety gear and more can be arranged by us as well.
